Minoodar City Monument

Qazvin, Iran, 2006

Design and presentation in partnership with Hooman Salamat and Farzin Hedayat

3rd place in National Competition for design and concept.

Rhythmic geometrical patterns and lines creates a balanced construct and helps the implementation of negative and positive spaces. The long, standing pillars are modern interpretation of ancient Persian architecture. The repetitions in patterns are inspired from complex Islamic motifs that have deep connections with this historic city.
